I saw this picture some years ago and I thought that it would be perfect for such a kind of joke. Freddy lying lasciviously on the bed. I wonder if they did it on purpose.
In the third panel, Nancy looks as if she is smiling. In the real scene, she’s frustrated because she only gets the busy signal when calling Glen. Just this one single frame looks a bit like smiling. And in the second to last panel, Glen of course doesn’t really look into a magazine. In the movie, he just puts the TV aside. But since this is a comic and not a video, it’s always easy to take such scenes out of context for the sake of humor.
