After I recognized that Kirby was the only guest character that appeared in more than one comic (episode 2–7 and episode 3–1), I decided to make his appearance a running gag. But although he is now shown once per season, he never actually appears himself. In episode 2–7 it’s just what becomes of Mario and Pac-Man if you merge them. And in episode 3–1 we only see his image on the sponsor’s advertisement, but he’s not seen live “on-screen”. And this time it’s merely a Kirby doll.
